NC Reach Web-based Workshops

NC Reach webinars provide information about a variety of topics that are relevant to students. NC Reach webinars are designed with today’s busy student in mind – each session highlights key information in just a few minutes.

Instructions

(Please read these instructions carefully! To receive credit, you will need to follow through with the 3 steps below.)

As a NC Reach student you are required to participate in at least two workshops a school year. We think you’ll find them valuable!

1.Review the list below and choose topics that will be helpful to you. Click on the link below the description of the workshops you wish to view.

2. To access all workshops, you’ll need to use the following login and password information:

(Login and password are case sensitive.)

3. Below each webinar are two questions. To get credit for viewing the session, you need to email your answers to both questions to your coordinator.

Read the questions first, view the webinar and then send your coordinator an email giving them the name of the webinar(s) you viewed and the answers to the questions for those seminars. This is how NC Reach will know that you met the workshop requirement.

Want to make the most of your educational experience? This session builds on OFA’s 10 Steps to Academic Success and provides an overview of each strategy for maximizing your educational success. This webinar should be used in conjunction with the 10 Steps workbook. (Email your NC Reach coordinator if you need a copy of this great resource!)

These workshops were conceived with the help of NC Reach students. Part of your commitment for receiving NC Reach funding is to attend at least one workshop a semester. If you don't meet this requirement, your funding will be cut.
